1) Where did you begin 2006?

Right here at home.  I have no doubt I was well asleep before midnight.  

2) What was your status by Valentine's Day?

Married to Dave and working in the restaurant.

3) Did you attend school this year?
No.

4) How did you earn your money?
Um....What money?  Waiting tables, night auditing, unemployment, selling eggs, housekeeping

5) Did you have to go to the hospital?
Yes.  Dave & I went on a quick trip to our old homestead Bear Valley.  While there I was overtaken with altitude sickness (hard to believe after I lived there for 12 years without issue) and rushed to the hospital (about an hour plus away) for about a six hour stay.

6) Did you have any encounters with the police?
None that I can think of.  Do process servers count?

7) Where did you go on a holiday?
Lincoln City, Oregon.  One of my most favorite places on earth.

8) What did you purchase that was over $500?
No single purchase but our trip mentioned above cost well over that. 

9) Know anyone that got married?
Yes.  Two old friends from B.V.  And it was about darn time too!

10) Did you know anybody who passed away?
Yes .... more than I care to get into.

11) Have you run into anybody you went to high school with?
No.  Did find an old friend I used to party with alot after high school.

12) Did you move anywhere?
No.  But won't live here the rest of my life for sure.

13) What sporting events did you go to?
Zero

14) What concerts/shows did you go to?
Zero.  Usually try to go to the Britt Festival in Jacksonville, OR for at least one show over the summer but didn't make it this year.

15) Are you registered to vote?
Absolutely.

16) Who did you want to win Big Brother?
Big Brother ..... ?? Not interested.

17) Where do you live now?

Scott Valley in the State of Jefferson .... subject of a future post.

18) Describe your birthday.
Horrible cold that turned out to be pnemonia.  Chinese Food and beer.  It was all good.

19) What's the one thing you thought you would never do but did in 2006?
Geocaching.  Had heard of it but never realized how much fun it could be.  As most of you know .... I'm hooked.

20) What has been your favorite moment?
Relaxing in the hot tub on the deck of our beachfront rental watching an awesome sunset, drinking a nice cocktail and enjoying my husband.  Three wonderful nights .....

21) What's something you learned about yourself?
That I'm not as likeable as I thought I was.  That I'm not able to get along with others or function in a normal working environment.  At least it's what I have been led to believe.

22) Any new additions to your family?
Chickens ..... and Elvis the rooster.

23) What was your best month?
June.

24) What music will you remember 2006 by?
Wow .... Red Hot Chili Peppers .... INXS ...... U2 .... way too much to even think of.

25) Who has been your best drinking buddy?
It would have to be Dave.  He really doesn't drink all that much not his thing ... but I on the other hand enjoy a good beer or tequila buzz once in awhile.  He takes good care of me but really hasn't had to in awhile ..... thank god.

26) Made new friends?

Seriously?  Your kidding right ..... ok ..... not to be so bitter .... I have made some awesome and wonderful "cyber friends" here at Mindsay.  Other than that ..... your kidding right?

27) Best new friend?
Best new friend - Best old friend ..... Dave.

28) Favorite Night out?
Don't mean to be redundant but it would have to be a night out in Lincoln City.

29) Any regrets?
Yes.  I regret not getting help much sooner for my depression this year.  I'm sure it cost me my job at the restaurant although I know that I was not the only one with issues ..... more going on there than could possibly be imagined and I carried alot of other people's shit around that I should not have.
