My cell phone is now turned back on .... this is a good thing .... but it was not even on for a full minute when it rang .....
The number of the caller came across the screen and I made the decision not to answer. Which is a good thing .... because after listening to the message that was left I'm not quite sure how this conversation would have gone if I did not have time to just calm down.
Boss lady apparently got the message that I had nothing nice to say to her. Her bulldog called instead .... an ex probation officer that is also on the board of directors at the house.
The message went something like this:
It is my understanding Mrs. Wilcox that you have a key to this house. I need that back and I need to tell you that you are no longer allowed to come to the house. There were issues after you left the other night and we will not allow you to continue to cause problems.
I also understand that you believe you have left personal items here, if that is true then you need to call and we will make arrangements to meet somewhere other than the house and I will bring what you think is yours to you. Again, if you believe you have personal items here ... don't come to the house.
My main purpose for the call is to retrieve the house key as a matter of security.
