rainWas up most the night with a raging headache.
I'm driving B. today .... first to the doctor and then to Yreka for a leg waxing. She phoned last night just delighted as hell that it was raining ..... now, if you've been paying attention .... this (the rain) does not make me happy ..... her delight just made me cry and get angry. Today its still raining ..... and I'm thrilled I get to spend the day with B. who loves this stuff. ***sarcasm***
Its going to be a long day of errands for me as well.
A phone call yesterday afternoon from someone needing a person to sit with their 96 year old mother on Saturday added to my agenda today of things to get done as I will have to go and meet them and be told what to expect.
Dave will usually turn on the weather channel first thing upon waking in the morning ..... has done this forever ..... then sometimes will flip through channels just listening to the morning news here and there. One of his favorite morning shows is The Daily Buzz on the CW channel ..... and I have to admit that when its on I don't mind watching. It can be funny.
This morning they were asking a general question "How did you spend your stimulus money?" ...... and the reply from some guy in Ohio was in my opinion classic ..... but then my sense of humor is sometimes much different then most.
His reply? "With my stimulus money I went and bought myself a 1/4 pound of mother nature. I'm going green!"
This little statement alone will have me giggling to myself all day. So a big "THANK YOU" to the dude from Ohio for making my day. Smoke on ......
