Its a very cold wintery day here in No. Cal. Snow is expected tonight .... and that always excites the hell out of me (very sarcastic here). I guess it might help get us into the holiday spirit. The dogs love the snow .... they always have a blast.
Finally got some cleaning done this morning. Procrastinated long enough. Doing a load of rugs from bathroom and bedroom now in laundry. Exciting stuff. Getting ready to vaccum now .... and that's even more exciting! At least things will be all shiny clean .... something to be thankful for.
I have a ton of filing to do as well. I'm a great stacker of shit. I stack shit here .... I stack shit there. All with the goal of "getting to it" sometime soon. My piles are piled pretty high right now. What amazes me is when I go through all these piles .... opening / sorting mail .... how much freakin paper waste there is. My pile of things that need filing after this process is nothing compared to the pile of trash .... envelopes, stuffers & catalogs. I get hammered this time of year with catalogs .... to the point I hate going to the mailbox. But I guess it's the price you pay when you order just about everything you buy online. ***Sigh***
A few other things I'm thankful for:
My mostly wonderful/understanding husband.
My mostly wonderful/understanding mother.
My dogs / cats / llamas / chickens and goldfish.
My friends here at Mindsay.
Pretty basic I know but it is what it is .....
Sometimes I look up and see the suggested tags and I have to laugh so far here is what is shows: pile of shit, pretty things, cold things, dirty pretty things. What do you think ..... appropriate?
1. Pile of shit - yes .... probably so far that is what this blog (sorry Amanda, I know you are cringing) is.
2. Pretty things - hummmm .... nope can't figure that one out.
3. Cold things - well .... I did mention snow.
4. Dirty pretty things - got my imagination going (we won't go there) but don't see where it fits in here.
Anyway ... enough about nothing .... I'll be around tomorrow ..... checking in .... hope you all enjoy your day with family and friends!

One more thing I just found out I can be thankful for .... Dave finally got his bathroom working in his shop .... and for more reasons than you can possibly imagine ..... I'm beyond thankful .....
