I've never really paid much attention to the "Men Are From Mars Women Are From Venus" thing .... only because it's fairly obvious to me that there is a huge difference in the way the different minds process things.  Lately Dave and I  have been suffering through serious "misunderstandings" or "miscommunications".  Usually ending with me frustrated and pissed off.  Simple stupid conversations ...... like this one from the night before last ....

Scene:  I'm in the kitchen cooking dinner.  Dave comes in from the shop and washes up.  Here is how the conversation went:

Dave:  Anything I can do to help?
Me:  Actually yeah, would you mind stirring the veggies occasionally?  I'm going to go and change into my pajama bottoms.  (I love to be comfortable .... and felt it was time)
Dave:  How long?
Me:  As long as it takes to stir the veggies .... occasionally.
Dave:  Smart ass ..... I'm trying to find out how much time before we eat.
Me:  Then why the hell don't you just ask that?
Dave:  I did.

I left the kitchen at that point ..... taking in deep breaths as I went along my way.  Attempting to not scream.  This is just a very small example of what happens non stop anymore .... is it me?  Really, is it me?  Did I miss something here?  Was I supposed to know what the heck he meant?  Do I need to start taking in all that's happening around me and evaluate what he may be talking about?  Or was I wrong to be confused by the whole thing?  Geez .....
