all I got was a lousy bottle of water. Yep .... She got out of the car and with a big smile says "Here! Brought you this bottle of water! It hasn't been opened!" Then she brought out the two loaves of sourdough bread and more salt water taffy. She was forgiven!

Don't know how much longer she is going to be able to go on these little jaunts. Everytime she comes home with a story that makes me wonder ... ??? This time she was trying to use her electronic key to get into her room and it would not work. So she sent her friend, as her legs were bothering her, to get another key. Her friend returns with another key and it still does not work. Finally mom walks down to the office on her own and gets yet another key. This time the clerk does not check room number ... just takes her word for it and provides her with a key. She gets to the room, opens the door and there is some man laying asleep on a bed. Needless to say my little 84 year old mom just freaks out - shuts door and gets out of there. Then she realizes she had been trying to get into the wrong room the whole time. She was in 304 and kept trying to get into 321. I have reason to worry ..... !

Rainy here today and colder than shit. Certainly hope this is short lived. Really would like to be warm for just a few more weeks ..... please????

Warning today: Don't eat bagged spinich. E-coli has been found and at least one person dead. Sucks. Now that our spinich supply is gone I eat a lot of bagged spinich. Truly bums me out. Lesson .... wash even your pre-washed bags of lettuce and spinich. Honestly it is something I don't do but will from now on. Makes sense.
