So it seems very quiet here today .... guess that is to be expected. Another foggy morning here .... cold and damp. The clouds are rolling in this afternoon and we are supposed to be in for quite a storm. And if it does rain ... it'll snow. I think the high out there today is about 38.

Petey hasn't been feeling well the last few days. He is not the kind of dog who will let you poke and prod to see what's up .... he'd just assume eat your lunch. And when he is hurt or not feeling well it's a sad pathetic sight. Just came back from buying some plain natural yogurt for him and hoping that if it is his tummy that will help settle it. Wish he could talk .....

Started a bit of shopping today .... it's not going to be to big of a gift year around here due to finances but when I saw this little goodie I had to get it for Dave. As I've mentioned before Dave collects marbles and includes in his collection games & toys that include marbles in them for playing. Why? Don't know.  Just something he likes to do .... here is another little story about Dave and his marbles

Not sure if that will work or not but hey ... I tried .... Dave also likes puzzles .... not only your standard cardboard jigsaw puzzles but any and all brainteaser puzzles (like rubic cube's) made of wood, iron, glass .... so I went to BitsandPieces.com and this is what I found:




Nice combo of both puzzle and marble.  Trick is to get the marble out of the bottle.  Hope he likes it .... thought it would look good with the other collection stuff.  It'll probably take him all of two seconds to figure it out.  It's the thought right .... ?   Got mom a couple of cool puzzles as well .... she does a lot of them in the winter.  Keeps her mind occupied and busy.
