dogWell I'll tell ya .... another $156.00 today at the vet. Finally broke down and took Petey in and it looks like he has pretty severe arthritis in his hips. So for three months of pills for him and two months worth of heartworm for the three of the dogs and Petey's annual shots and office visit ..... $156.00. OUCH!!!!
I have a Dr.'s appt. at 1:45 today and Dave has one at 2:30 ..... just one big old Dr. visit kind of a day. Mine is just to see how the med's are doing ..... and I'm really not sure how they are doing ..... I don't seem to cry as much which is good in some ways but the anxiety levels are still high and the temper is still volitle. May need more time for the med's. Who knows? Dave is seeing a chiropractor today .... not sure if this will help but it can't hurt at this point .... and if he can offer any relief for him at all that would be a blessing. Fingers and toes and crossed on this one!
Well I bought myself my Christmas present from Dave today. I sorta have to do that or I don't get one. He is not a shopper ..... never has been. Most times he'll wait till Christmas Eve to go shopping and then he'll come home with a new electric can opener to replace the one he bought for me Christmas Eve the year before. I'm not kidding. So now .... I find what I want and say hey found this .... what do you think .... ? My christmas present .... ? And he usually will laugh ..... give me a bit of grief ..... and then say ok. So .... hear it is ..... !
I got the green one. I love these chenille bedspreads. They remind me of when I was a little girl .... visiting my grandma. She always had the pretty cotton chenille bedspreads on her beds. I saw this and fell in love. It was in the clearance section at LinenSource.com so I got it at a good buy. I don't pay full price for anything. Not my nature. We've been without a bedspread for awhile now. Just tons of blankets piled up on the bed. So I'm very excited!
I've done pretty good about keeping within a certain budget this year on spending. Now if there was a way to keep the vet bills down I would be a very happy girl. But with the amount of animals we have it's always bound to be something. No different than kids I guess ..... ?
Well as usual nothing really insightful to say .... just bored ramblings .... wishing for more sunshine ..... think I'll grab a bite before I leave .....
